A quick, playful post for Friday –
Show a photo and then a contrasting artwork of a place you’ve lived, or where you’re currently living. Be as inventive as you like.
If you’d like to join in, send the link to your post in the comments. 🙂
My photo is of Sydney Harbour –
And the contrasting artwork of Sydney Harbour is the cover of Midnight Oil’s record, Red Sails in the Sunset –
Have a great weekend everybody!
Wow, what a contrast between the pristine and GORGEOUS reality and Midnight Oil’s post-apocalyptic cover! (Bridge and Opera House still standing though). A clever challenge, Susan. 🙂
Silly things I come up with going for a morning walk.
Defs NOT silly!
You are a love. xx
XO
A very interesting challenge and I love your contribution. Midnight Oil makes me want to bang my head and play air guitar:) I’ll have to think about it.
Only if inspiration strikes, otherwise, keep up the air guitar, I’m sure it’s therapeutic.
It’s just the teacher in me planning a lesson, anything to distract from editing.
This is such a brilliant take on the challenge. Midnight Oil WAS the soundtrack of a really crazy part of my life (along with Hunters and Collectors). 🙂
Hello Su! So late to reply to this, have been editing in hibernation! Oh my goodness, how mysteriously you just threw that in, ‘really crazy part of my life’. I hope it was fun and crazy. 🙂 🙂
